Mother's Day Essay Contest

In 1000 words or less, tell us why YOUR mom is the Greatest Mom. To enter, e-mail your essay to info@langjewelers.com, drop it off in-store, or mail it to us! The winning essay will be announced on Mother's Day, May 12th, 2013. Be sure to include you contact information along with your essay. All entries must be received no later than May 5th, 2013 to be eligible.

Karl Weismantel is a jazz guitarist and volcalist who has performed extensively as a soloist, bandleader and sideman at clubs, festivals, restaurants and for private occasions. His forte is playing jazz, popular, latin and classical guitar style.
Friday, May 31: Tropix
Tropix is a latin-music band based in Gainesville, FL. They perform a variety of Latin music from salsa to merengue, bachata, cumbia, boleros and more! Tropix features your favorites from today and yesterday by artists like El Gran Combo, Marc Anthony, Buena Vista Social Club, Olga Tañon, and Prince Royce.
Friday, June 28: Just Maybe Band
The Just Maybe Band plays a rich variety of soulful R&B along with some blues, some rock and pop classics, a little country - in other words, a wide selection of songs from all styles for all tastes.
Friday, July 26: Stonebranch Band
Stonebranch Band mixes covers of some classic rock favroites with their orignal music.
Friday, August 30: Orquesta SalSumba D'Gville
A Latin variety band, Orquesta SalSumba D'Gille plays favorites from singers like Pete El Conde Rodriguez, Celia Cruz, Ismael Miranda, Ray Barreto, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Hector Lavoe.

Free Admission! Friday, April 12: Toy Story 3 Toy Story 3 is a 2010 family film starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack. Andy's toys are accidentally donated to a children's day-care right after he leaves for college. The toys look to Woody to guide them on their journey home.
Friday, May 10: Cars 2 Cars 2 is a 2011 family film starring Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy. Race car Lightning McQueen and his friend Mater travel abroad to race in the World Grand Prix. However, Mater gets sidetracked with an adventure of his own.
Friday, June 14: The Lorax The Lorax is a 2012 family film starring Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Danny DeVito. Young Ted embarks on a mission to win the heart of the girl of his dreams. While searching for the one thing that will help him, he must first discover the story of the Lorax who protects his world.
Friday, July 12: Brave Brave is a 2012 family film starring Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson. Princess Merida is a determined young woman who unknowingly brings a curse upon her kingdom in an attempt to win her freedom.
